Alliance 29:11 recently took over 20 adults & children to the Dominican Republic for one week in July. Some of the people in the group are donors, some support Alliance 29:11 through NOBLE coffee, but all of them have a heart for orphan-care ministry & a desire to participate in Alliance’s work in Puerta Plata. Our goal is that, in providing people with great coffee (or tea), we can connect them with a cause that they may not have otherwise known about, and that as they consistently dwell on that cause through coffee, it will become more & more important to them. Eventually, we think that this connection between cause and consumption will create, not just casual supporters, but impassioned advocates for the cause.
